The Annual General Meeting(AGM)of The Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd. was held at Trust Milonayaton, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka on August 05,2010. Chairman of the Board of Directors Group Captain(Rtd)Abu Zafar Chowdhury,Vice Chairman Belayet Hossain,Director Captain(rtd)S.M Nasimul Haque (Biman),Director Wing Commander(rtd) Ali Haider Chowdhury, Director Major(rtd)ATM Hamidul Hossain, Bir Bikrom, Director Wing Commander(Rtd) M. Akhtaruzzaman, and Managing Director Shamsun Nahar Zafar ,DMCBL Branch Mangers and members were present.

By the grace of almighty Allah, on 21st July,10 we opened our 83th Branch at Jhenaidah to serve you. Mrs. Srimati Roma Rani Ray, DC, Jhenaidah was present as Chief Guest to open the branch.

By the grace of almighty Allah, on 19th July,10 we opened our 82th Branch at Meherpur to serve you. Md. Joynal Abedin , MP, Meherpur-1 was present as Chief Guest to open the branch.

By the grace of almighty Allah, on 17th July,10 we opened our 81th Branch at Norail to serve you. Mr. Anwar Hossain, DC, Norail was present as Chief Guest to open the branch.

We are going to open eight new branches at Narail, Meherpur, Jhenaidah, Magura, Sherpur, Chatak, Habigonj,Chatkhil within very short time.

From July’09 to Jun’10, we make a plan to expand to Barisal division with 5 more branches.
